About Kelley
I’m Kelley Smith, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My work has been a life mission towards healing- both of myself and others.
I am a native of Columbus, Ohio and a graduate of The Ohio State University with a
Bachelor of Arts in International Studies: Peace and Conflict
and
a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
from Ashland Theological Seminary.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy through The Institute for Creative Mindfulness and specialize in the treatment of trauma related symptoms.
It has been my focus throughout my career to help people of varied social backgrounds overcome barriers to living empowered lives.
I have worked in private practice settings and in inpatient /outpatient behavioral health. I have extensive experience with a wide range of mental health presentations.
I am looking forward to the privilege of joining you in the next phase of your life- as you seek help for unresolved issues including past trauma, support through grief or recovery, relationship repair and growth, or other challenging life circumstances.
You will be accepted and affirmed just as you are. You already have the ability to heal inside of you. Together, we can develop your awareness and skill in accessing it.
